I was born but not raised in Newport News, Virginia. I was raised an Army brat so I traveled and lived in several places. We returned to Newport News and it was there that God grabbed hold of my stubborn heart. From the very beginning, God brought teenagers of all ages into my life. I worked in two different middle schools for three years and lead and taught several high school bible studies. In 2007, I took an youth ministry internship at Third Presbyterian Church in Richmond, Virginia, where my call to youth ministry was confirmed.

I attended the University of Mary Washington, where I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Religion. After this I took a job creating and developing a youth ministry for four years at Falmouth Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I am currently studying for my Masters of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary.

My passion is to introduce teens to Jesus Christ and grow them as disciples, so that they can live out, articulate and share their faith lovingly and clearly. When I am not doing ministry, I enjoy spending my time with my wonderful wife Katie. I also enjoy traveling, watching movies, listening to music (as well as playing it), along with playing basketball and soccer. Most importantly I love to watch my favorite soccer team Manchester United play on TV!
